Description

Pneumatic rotary actuator for shut-off valves SC-RAT/RST52-DA of size 52 has a rotation of 90 or 180° and a torque of up to 33.28 Nm (at a pressure of 8 bar). This is a reliable pneumatic actuator designed for small ball valves ⅜~2″ and butterfly dampers DN10~50, which have a standard mounting platform for the actuator F03/F05 according to ISO 5211/DIN3337 standards. When ordering, you should consider the torque value Nm and choose the mode of operation:

SC-RAT52-DA — double-acting pneumatic actuator. It should be equipped with a Namur standard distributor 5/2 with a thread size of 1/4″ at the output of the pneumatic distributor, with force up to 33.28 Nm;
SC-RST52-DA — single-acting pneumatic actuator with forced spring return to closed/open position in case of air pressure drop. The turning force depends on the number of springs (from 5 to 12). The force is halved — up to 14 Nm. Both 3/2 and 5/2 distributors can be used for control. We recommend supplying air to both outputs using the 5/2 construction.

Horizontal pneumatic actuator 52 SC-RAT/RST52-DA

The bodies of the Specialist air actuators are made of extruded aluminium with deep anodising of the internal and external surfaces.

Structurally, this is a rack and pinion rotary pneumatic cylinder of a quarter 90±4° for a ball valve or 180±4°. It can be equipped with NAMUR standard pneumatic distributors, positioners, and limit switch blocks.
