Vacuum Ejectors
Vacuum Ejectors
Vacuum ejector is a very small vacuum generator necessary for the operation of an industrial manipulator with suction cups in an automated production line. To produce a vacuum output -48...90 kPa, compressed air from a compressor, typically available in production for powering pneumatic devices, is passed through the device. Therefore, purchasing an air ejector to create a vacuum from the pneumatic line is often cheaper and simpler than laying a separate line from a vacuum pump. The latter should be considered for high-speed packaging lines where productivity needs to be significantly higher.

Vacuum ejector generators are miniature jet pumps with a Venturi tube at their core. To create a vacuum, compressed air at approximately 5 bar is passed through a narrowing of 0.5...2 mm, causing the air jet to shoot out of the nozzle in a specific direction and capture neighbouring molecules into the flow. This creates a suction effect and loosening at the ejector's second outlet, i.e., vacuum.
During operation, the ejector releases air into the atmosphere through an exhaust opening, where a silencer is installed to reduce the noise from hissing. Sometimes, a pressure relay and a solenoid valve are added to the basic design to control the vacuum, which can regulate the vacuum and ensure greater energy efficiency and safety.
Simple models typically have a T-shaped form.
Choosing a vacuum generator model
In our company "Specialist" you can purchase two types of ejectors:
- Series SCC-ACV consists of more classic ejectors in a protective housing with a wide selection of models for generating up to 7~350 nl/min of vacuum, allowing you to choose the optimal option for a group of suction cups;
- Series SCC-AUZ are miniature ejectors, which are more expensive but can be integrated into any space: they are embedded into a tube and do not occupy extra space. They are designed for a maximum of 19 nl/min and are mainly used with individual suction cups.
Pneumatic ejectors series SCC-ACV
Pneumatic ejectors series SCC-ACV have a classic T-shaped design in a protective housing and are commonly used to power a group of suction cups.

The higher the consumption, the less vacuum pressure the ejector creates:

Pneumatic mini-ejectors series SCC-AUZ
Miniature pressure generators series SCC-ACV have a direct form and are designed for embedding into piping.
