Rotary pneumatic actuator for shut-off valves SC-RAT/RST83-DA

Pneumatic rotary actuator for shut-off valves SC-RAT/RST83-DA with a piston diameter of 83 mm has a rotation of 90 or 180° and a torque of up to 118.8 Nm (at a pressure of 8 bar). This is a reliable pneumatic actuator designed to be installed on medium-sized ball valves 2~2½″ and butterfly valves DN 50~125, which have a standard flange mounting for the actuator F07/F10 according to ISO 5211/DIN3337. When ordering, you need to consider the Nm at pressure and choose the mode of action:

• SC-RAT83-DA — double-acting pneumatic actuator. Torque up to 118.8 Nm. Must be equipped with a distributor of the Namur standard 5/2 with a thread size 1/4″ at the output of the pneumatic distributor;
• SC-RST83-DA — single-acting pneumatic actuator with forced spring return to the closed/open position in case of air pressure drop. The turning force depends on the number of springs (from 5 to 12) and up to 52 Nm, which is approximately half than RAT. Both 3/2 and 5/2 distributors can be used for control. We recommend supplying air to both outputs using a 5/2 design.
