Solenoid Valves for Steam

A solenoid valve for steam is a stainless steel seat valve with a solenoid coil for control, designed for use with high-temperature media in steam systems and boiler rooms.

Features of SV-SH Steam Solenoid Valves

The Specialist series SV-SH valves for working with saturated steam have PTFE seals for temperatures up to +250°C, a body that withstands high pressure 16 bar (Ru16) and a cooling radiator top cover design that dissipates heat. Such design guarantees reliability and durability during operation.

Since the solenoid coil receives a signal to close the circuit in an “on-off” mode, the solenoid type steam valves are shut-off valves by default, normally closed — meaning, in the absence of DC24V or AC220V power, the shut-off element completely blocks the pipeline.

If regulation is required, you should order stainless steel steam valves with an electric actuator from us, or, more suitable for harsh operating conditions, with a pneumatic actuator and positioner. The latter can also function as actuators, processing a 4-20 mA signal from an industrial controller.
