Handle-operated butterfly valves

Handle-operated butterfly valve is a butterfly gate with a handle or steering wheel. This shut-off and regulating valve can both block the flow of the working medium and perform throttling.

For regulation, the Specialist butterfly valve with a handle has the capability to lock at intermediate position marks in 10 degree increments (i.e. 0, 10, 20…70, 80, 90°). Our company sells manual butterfly valves made of cast iron and stainless steel for various working media: water supply, hot water, steam, condensate, chemical solutions of acids and alkalis, petroleum products, diesel, petrol, gas, food products and bulk materials.

Butterfly valves can be supplied with electric or pneumatic actuators with a manual override device. The manual override of the disc-turn valve, unlike a conventional handwheel (steering wheel), is needed to manually control the valve, bypassing automatic control in cases of emergency shutdowns, maintenance, etc.
