1. In case of emergency power loss, the valve should automatically close and block the air conduit to stop the process;
2. The valve operates in a periodic switching mode, so the normally closed design allows for long-term energy savings;

Electric Air Valves 2/2 or 3/2?

The designation 2/2 and 3/2 indicates the valve's lineability:

• If it is necessary to relieve pressure at the inlet, choose a 3/2 valve, which, in addition to the inlet and outlet, has an exhaust port. We recommend using this structure for safety reasons — maintaining pressure inside a disconnected machine may pose a threat to the maintenance personnel;
• When the pipeline is transporting not pure air but air-gas mixtures with oil and other substance contaminants that should not be released at the installation site, a 2/2 valve is used, which has a single inlet-outlet.
