Rotary pneumatic actuator for shut-off valves SC-RAT/RST92-DA

Pneumatic rotary actuator for shut-off valves SC-RAT/RST92-DA of the 92nd size type has a rotation of 90 or 180° and a torque of up to 181.9 Nm (at a pressure of 8 bar). This reliable pneumatic actuator is designed for installation on small ball valves 2½~3″ and butterfly valves DN 80~125 that have a standard mounting platform for the actuator F05/F07 according to the standard ISO 5211/DIN3337. When ordering, you must consider the value of Nm and choose the mode of action:

• SC-RAT92-DA — Double-acting pneumatic actuator. Must be equipped with a standard Namur distributor 5/2 with a thread size of 1/4″ at the pneumatic distributor output, force up to 181.9 Nm;
• SC-RST92-DA — Single-acting pneumatic actuator with forced spring return to the closed/open position in case of air pressure drop. The torque depends on the number of springs (from 5 to 12). The force is halved — up to 91.2 Nm. For control, both distributors 3/2 and 5/2 can be used. We recommend supplying air to both outputs using the 5/2 design.

The housing of Specialist air actuators is made of extruded aluminium with deep anodizing of the inner and outer surfaces.

By design, it is a quarter-turn rotary pneumatic cylinder 90±4° for a ball valve or 180±4°. It can be equipped with pneumatic distributors of the NAMUR standard, positioners, limit switch block.
