Description

Pneumatic rotary actuator for shut-off valves SC-RAT/RST63-DA of 63rd size has a rotation of 90 or 180° and a torque of up to 58.56 Nm (at a pressure of 8 bar). This is a reliable pneumatic actuator designed for installation on small ball valves ¾~2½″ and butterfly valves DN 30~80, featuring a standard actuator mounting plate F05/F07 according to ISO 5211/DIN3337. When ordering, you should consider the Nm value and choose the method of operation:

SC-RAT63-DA — double-acting pneumatic actuator. It should be equipped with a Namur standard distributor 5/2 with a thread size of 1/4″ at the pneumatic distributor outlet, force up to 58.56 Nm;
SC-RST63-DA — single-acting pneumatic actuator with forced spring return to closed/open position in case of air pressure drop. The rotational force depends on the number of springs (from 5 to 12). The force is halved — up to 25 Nm. For control, distributors 3/2 or 5/2 can be used. We recommend supplying air to both outlets using a 5/2 construction.

Horizontal pneumatic actuator 63 SC-RAT/RST63-DA

The Specialist pneumatic actuator housings are made from extruded aluminium with deep anodization of the internal and external surfaces.

Structurally, it is a rack and pinion rotary pneumatic cylinder for a quarter turn 90±4° for ball valve or 180±4°. It can be equipped with NAMUR standard pneumatic distributors, positioners, and limit switch boxes.
