Rotary pneumatic actuator for shut-off valves SC-RAT/RST125-DA

Pneumatic rotary actuator for shut-off valves SC-RAT/RST125-DA with a piston diameter of 125 mm features a rotation of 90 or 180° and a torque up to 466.4 Nm (at a pressure of 8 bar). This reliable pneumatic actuator is designed for installation on large ball valves 4~5″ and butterfly valve DN 125~200, which have a standard mounting platform for actuator F07/F10 according to standard ISO 5211/DIN3337. When ordering, you must choose the mode of action:

• SC-RAT125-DA — double-acting pneumatic actuator. Must be equipped with a Namur standard distributor 5/2 with a thread size of 1/4″ at the pneumatic distributor's outlet;
• SC-RST125-DA — single-acting pneumatic actuator with forced spring return to the closed/open position in case of air pressure drop. The turning force depends on the number of springs (from 5 to 12). Distributors 3/2 or 5/2 can be used for control. We recommend supplying air to both outputs using a 5/2 configuration.

Horizontal Pneumatic Actuator 125 SC-RAT/RST125-DA

The body of Specialist pneumatic actuators is made of extruded aluminium with deep anodising of both inner and outer surfaces.

Structurally, it is a rack and pinion pneumatic cylinder for a quarter turn of 90±4° for ball valve or 180±4°. It can be equipped with NAMUR standard pneumatic distributors, positioners, end switch boxes.
