Compressor Intake Valves
The intake (inlet) valve is used at the entry of air screw compressors to regulate the supply of atmospheric air into the compression chamber. It performs several functions:
- Along with the check valve on the lubrication line, it allows maintaining pressure inside the screw block for normal operation
- Helps regulate performance
