Description
Pneumatic filter-regulator with gauge SA-WM10-08 1/4″ is a combined filter-moisture separator and diaphragm pressure regulator with a mechanical gauge designed for conditioning compressed air after the compressor before supplying it to small pneumatic tools. The device's capacity is up to 700 nl/min. Filter-regulators SA-WM10-08 connect to the line through threaded inlet-outlet holes 1/4 inch (pipe cylindrical thread). Functions:
- air purification by retaining solid particles larger than 40 µm on the replaceable filter element (installation of filter elements with a filtration fineness of 5 µm is possible);
- separation of liquid moisture and partially compressor oil contained in the compressed air;
- semi-automatic condensate drainage from the flask (condensate is drained either when the air conditioning unit is disconnected from the air supply, or by a manual press on the drainage valve at the bottom of the filter)
- adjustable reduction of pressure supplied by the compressor and maintaining it at a set level in the range from 1.5 to 8.5 bar. This filter-regulator can be used on any industrial equipment or pneumatic tool where pressure regulation accuracy ±0.5 bar is allowed;
- release of excess pressure from the outlet.

Additional Information
This filter-regulator has an aluminium body painted with powder coating, a plastic adjustment handle, and transparent technopolymer condensate collection flasks.
The cyclone type moisture separator SA-WM10-08 can separate only liquid moisture and oil from the air — the device is not capable of separating water that hasn't condensed yet. To properly dry moist air, after the compressor, install refrigeration type dryers or adsorbers.
The filter-regulator SA-WM10-08 has a semi-automatic condensate drainage. Condensate is drained:
- if the air supply to the mainline is turned off, causing a pressure drop in the air conditioning unit;
- by pressing the drainage valve at the bottom of the filter.
If the air humidity is high at the compressor's installation location or you work continuously, you may need a fully automatic condensate drainage system that doesn't require stopping the system and regular checks. Automatic drainage can be installed on filter-regulators of the SA-WN and SA-WU series, so consider these air conditioning units.
The filter element SA-WM10-08 mechanically retains solid particles larger than 40 µm and releases already purified air. If necessary, the air conditioning unit can be equipped with a filter element with a purification degree of 5 µm, but its use requires prior air filtration using a 40 µm filter. This is necessary to extend the life of the five-micron filter element and maintain normal flow capacity.
Assembly Example:
For quick and convenient disconnection-connection of the air supply from the mainline to the air conditioning unit, we recommend installing the valve SV-I-H-32.
