Description

Plastic collet fittings SF-IPC. This type of push-in fitting is a straight connector — it has a hexagonal shape for convenience when using a wrench, and has two connection ports used to connect a flexible hose to equipment with threaded ports:

for screwing into equipment, the fitting has an external thread ("male") on one side — either metric size M5-20 or a pipe taper thread from R1/8 to 1/2 inch
on the other side, the fitting has a collet to connect a flexible pneumatic hose made of polyamide, polyurethane or polyethylene with a diameter of 4-12 mm.

The collet type clamp is quick-release and allows saving time for installing pneumatic equipment, as well as simplifying maintenance, because this type of connection allows the hose to be repeatedly connected — after the collet the hose DOES NOT deform and fully retains its shape. Moreover, collet fittings are reliable, withstanding compressed air pressure up to 10 bar.

The body and part of the collet are made of technical plastic in black or blue colour, the collet seal is made of NBR, and the threaded inserts are made of nickel-plated bronze, with a sealant applied by the manufacturer.

The price of the plastic straight connector SF-IPC is lower than that of the SF-EPC series. SF-IPC fittings are more budget-friendly and relatively inexpensive, intended for general industrial use without harsh operating conditions and high reliability requirements.
