Air compressors for painting
Air compressors for painting
Air compressors for painting are professional equipment for spraying paint under pressure through the nozzles of hand-held pneumatic guns (sprayers, spray guns) or in specialised painting booths.
Industrial compressor equipment is indispensable for car services where compressed air is used not only for painting cars but also for sandblasting surfaces, operating tyre fitting machines for wheel assembly, pneumatic wrenches for loosening bolts and nuts, and directly inflating tyres with air. The Ukrainian company "Specialist" offers quality screw compressors for painting cars and related equipment.
"Specialist" air compressors are among the best on the market:
-
We supply screw compressors ready for connection and use
The compressor is controlled by a specialised controller connected to pressure and temperature sensors, valves, and the motor control circuit. The counter helps control planned maintenance. -
Quality and durable components inside
We use high-quality screw pairs 5:6 processed on high-precision machines. Direct drive is more efficient than belt-driven. Reliable metal tubes instead of rubber hoses. Good filtration: intake air filter, air oil separator, oil filter. -
Available in Lviv and near Dnipro
You can quickly receive the ordered equipment and also order compressor oil and the necessary spare parts for repairs from us.
How to choose a compressor for painting
Which type of compressor to choose for painting?
For painting, an industrial piston or screw type air compressor with single-stage compression, which compresses air to a pressure of 8 atmospheres or higher, is suitable. Piston types are cheaper, while screw types have better characteristics and provide higher quality professional painting.
What power compressor is needed for a spray gun?
For most spray guns, a mini compressor for painting with a power of 2.2 kW is suitable — for example, SCC-ME2.2G-8A. This compressor has a capacity of 300 l/min, which easily covers the air consumption of pneumatic spray guns that consume 80-250 l/min.
How to set up a compressor for painting?
When using a receiver, we recommend setting the maximum pressure on the compressor controller to 8 atmospheres. Using a pressure switch, turn off the compressor when 8 bars is reached in the receiver, and turn it back on when it falls below 6 bars. Use the regulator in the air preparation unit to obtain a stable working pressure of 3 bars right before the gun.
The pressure values are provided as examples — use the parameters recommended by the equipment manufacturer.
