Description

SC-Ceritol is part of the group of plastic viscous lubricants used in the production for lubricating the internal parts of linear and rotary pneumatic cylinders or other pneumatic equipment containing moving internal elements. This type of lubricant ensures the functionality of pneumatics under normal conditions — travel speed up to 1 m/s, frequency — no more than 40 cycles per minute.

For equipment operating with high intensity and speed, we recommend considering the use of pneumatic lubricators with more liquid low-viscosity lubricant.

The lubricant protects the surfaces of pneumatics from corrosion. It also reduces friction forces, slows down surface wear, and helps maintain the sealing of internal cavities.

During production, Specialist pneumatic cylinders are filled with grease, which is usually sufficient for the entire service life. However, in some cases, the lubricant layer can be washed away due to poor air filtration, use of a lubricant dispenser, improper operation, or long service life when parts need replacing during maintenance.

Before applying the lubricant, the surface should be thoroughly cleaned of rust, dirt, moisture, and old lubricant residues. The surface should be clean and dry.
