Compact double-acting pneumatic cylinders and single rod cylinders from the SC-SDA series can be manufactured with piston diameters from 12 to 100 mm and any stroke length, which is a multiple of 5 mm but not exceeding the maximum (see table below). This series does NOT have an integrated cushioning device, and damping washers are used to absorb the piston impact on the cap. These types of pneumatic cylinders are commonly found in Chinese made machinery.
Upon client request, SC-SDA pneumatic cylinders can be manufactured:
- with a magnet to allow piston position control with a reed switch (denoted as "S" in the code)
- without a magnet on the piston, which allows further reduction in overall dimensions.

Compact SDA series pneumatic cylinders with single rod can be ordered in three main variants:

Double-acting pneumatic cylinders with SC-SDA single-acting rod (default) have two ports for connection to the pneumatic line. Supplying air under pressure to the rodless chamber (from the rear cap side) extends the rod, while pressure release and air supply from the opposite side (from the rod side) retracts the rod. The rod can only be extended forward, and the other end of the pneumatic cylinder has a closed cap.
- Internal ("female") thread on the rod (default)
- External ("male") thread on the rod SDA-...-B

Single-acting pneumatic cylinders SC-SSA with return spring in the rod cavity (on request), which provides rod retraction upon pressure release. The pneumatic cylinder has a single inlet for connection to the pneumatic line. When compressed air is supplied to the rodless chamber, the rod extends. The stroke length of SC-SSA cylinders cannot exceed 30 mm.

Single-acting pneumatic cylinders SC-STA with return spring in the rodless chamber (on request), ensuring rod extension upon pressure release. It also has one inlet for connection to the pneumatic line but from the opposite side. When compressed air is supplied to the rod chamber, the rod retracts. The stroke length of SC-STA cylinders cannot exceed 30 mm.
