How to Choose an Air Filter with a Pressure Regulator for Paint Spray Guns

• Air Consumption: Take into account the air consumption of the pneumatic gun or spray nozzle in the booth.
• Input Pressure: Choose components that can withstand the pressure applied by the compressor (from 3 to 12 bar depending on type).
• Pressure on the Paint Gun: Check your pneumatic tool manufacturer's recommendations for allowable pressure variations and consult a painter — for uniform application of certain types of paints, this parameter must be very precisely maintained and not just use ordinary pneumatic regulators but more expensive precision regulators.
• Filtration Degree: Decide what degree of filtration is necessary.

For example: if the air consumption of the paint spray gun is up to 700 nl/min, then a compressed air filter-regulator (SA-WM10-08) will be suitable for you. And if up to 1400 nl/min then the model SA-WM40-15.
