Description
Pneumatic filters for compressed air 1/2″ of the SA-FM40-15 series are intended for coarse air cleaning from moisture in liquid phase and solid particles (filtration rate is 40 μm). After filtration, the air can be used for further supply to distributors, pneumatic cylinders, drives, and tools without increased air quality requirements. These filters are compact and designed for small pneumatic systems, making them economical and ideally suited for use in garage conditions and occasional works.
Air filters of the SA-FM series can be applied in pneumatic systems where the inlet pressure does not exceed 10 bar.

The filter is supplied with an internal thread for connection to the pneumatic line, the size of which depends on the chosen model. Filter SA-FM10 with G1/2″ thread comes with a transparent condensate bowl, and has an additional plastic bowl and shell for its protection from impact. The filter has a built-in filter element with a cleaning fineness of 40 μm. You can also order two devices in one – an equivalent air filter with a SA-WM40-15 regulator. Assembly in one housing will have a lower total cost.

Installation and maintenance SA-FM40-15
- Condensate should accumulate at the bottom of the filter cup, so the device should be installed on the pipeline in a vertical position;
- When connecting to the air supply, it is important to follow the correct connection of the device input-output (marked with an arrow on the body);
- During operation, condensate accumulates in the bowl — it is necessary to monitor so that it does not reach the limit mark and remove the liquid in time by shutting off the air supply or pressing the condensate drain;
- The cartridge (filtering element) of the air filter requires periodic replacement. The life of the filtering material is not standardised and depends on the contamination level of the supplied air. The need for filter element replacement is determined visually based on its condition.
