Description
Air filter for pneumatics 1/4″ series SA-FU20-08 with a plastic casing is designed for moisture separation and cleaning compressed air from solid particles 25 µm to ensure normal operating conditions and long service life of pneumatic tools, valves, distributors, and cylinders. Air filters of series SA-FU20-08 can be used in pneumatic systems with pressure up to 10 bar (up to 12 bar with a metal protective cup). They are connected to the pneumo line using the thread G1/4″.

Additional information about filters SA-FU20-08
Do not choose the filter size "just in case" — at too low air consumption, moisture separation occurs inefficiently.
SA-FU20-08 can only separate droplet water, meaning it is necessary to pre-cool the hot air from compression in the compressor to condense part of the water in vapor form. For effective moisture removal, it is necessary to install refrigeration dryers or adsorbers after the compressor.
This type of filter by default has a semi-automatic condensate drain from the bulb — after the pneumatic system is turned off and its pressure is reduced to 2 bar the condensate drain valve opens and moisture is removed from the filter. It is not allowed to fill the filter bowl above the maximum mark. For continuous operation pneumatic systems or with long intervals of starts, we recommend ordering together with the filter an automatic level-based condensate drain SA-ZDPS.
Filter elements made of bronze or propylene are consumable materials of filters and require replacement with a new one after contamination. You can increase the filtration degree of the filter by replacing the standard filter element with a filter element 5 µm, which you will find in related products. When using 5 µm filtration, it is advisable to install an additional pre-filter 25 µm.
