Description
The air filter series SA-FU40-15 is designed for moisture separation and purification of compressed air from solid particles 25 µm, to ensure normal working conditions and prolong the service life of pneumatic tools, valves, distributors, and cylinders. Air filters of the SA-FU40-15 series can be used in pneumatic systems with a pressure of up to 10 bar (up to 12 bar when equipped with a metal protective cup). They connect to the pneumatic line using a G1/2″ thread.

Advantages of SA-FU40-15

Additional information on SA-FU40-15 filters
Do not select the filter size "just in case" — with too low air consumption, moisture separation occurs inefficiently.
The filter is also able to separate only droplet water, so it is necessary to pre-cool the hot air from the compressor so that water in vapor state is condensed. For effective moisture removal, refrigerant type dryers or adsorbers need to be installed after the compressor.
This filter type is by default equipped with a semi-automatic condensate drain from the bowl - after turning off the pneumatic system and reducing the pressure to 2 bar, the condensate drainage valve opens and the moisture is removed from the filter. The filter bowl should not be filled above the maximum mark. For continuously operating pneumatic systems or those with long operating intervals we recommend ordering with the filter an automatic condensate drain SA-ZDPS.
Bronze or propylene filter elements are expendable materials of the filters and require replacement to new ones once contaminated. The filtration degree can be improved by replacing the standard filter element with a 5 µm filter element, which you will find in related products. When using 5 µm filtration, it is advisable to install an additional 25 µm pre-filter.
