Single-phase frequency inverters | 220V input
Single-phase frequency inverters | 220V input
The advantage of single-phase input 220 V frequency inverters is their ability to connect to a standard household network with a frequency of 50/60 Hz or a single-phase generator 220 Volts. Depending on the chosen series of the inverter, you can get the same 1 phase 220 V at the output, or increase the number of phases to 3 and raise the voltage up to 380 to connect appropriate electric motors.
Although theoretically, you can connect asynchronous motors of any configuration and power to single-phase power through a frequency inverter, in domestic conditions, you are somewhat limited by the power and current that your generator or electrical network can provide. In the latter case, it may be necessary to replace the power cable with a larger conductor.
Low-voltage 220 V frequency inverters also have settings that allow you to set the maximum output voltage lower than the input voltage.
