Description
Three-phase motor choke 1200A, 380V, 550 kW, 0.0058 mH OCL-1200-05U8-0.4SA is installed at the output of the frequency converter to filter the current supplied to the three-phase electric motors 380 V motor. The purpose of the output choke is as follows:
- Creating inductive resistance that limits the engine power current and thereby prevents its overload and damage;
- Preventing sudden current surges during engine start-up, which can damage equipment;
- Cleansing the current sine wave from unwanted high harmonics (high-frequency noise) that occur in the electric drive.
Use the AC output choke in the circuit between the frequency converter and the asynchronous motor to improve the power supply quality of the drive, as well as ensure the safe and long-term operation of the equipment.

- The altitude above sea level should not exceed 2000 m.
- Air humidity less than 90%.
- Environment: no harmful gases, flammable items, availability of good ventilation.
When placing the choke in a cabinet, ensure ventilation for adequate equipment cooling.
