Hand operated knife gate valves

The hand operated knife gate valve is a flat wedge gate with a handwheel (flywheel) for manual control of the shut-off valve position as "open-close". It is NOT recommended to leave the manual knife gate valve partially open or use it for regulation.

The feature of the SCBF-PZ673X series manual knife gate valve is its bi-directional design — meaning the shut-off valve provides reliable closure in both directions of the working medium flow. These valves are equally well-suited for bulk material bins and for systems where flow reversal is possible: for wastewater treatment facilities and water supply, for slurry in the mining industry, pulp and suspension pipelines containing abrasive particles.

The second distinctive feature of the flat wedge gate is the rising stem. This structure simplifies visual determination of the "open-close" position, and sensors can be added to determine position and transmit an electrical signal to the operator's panel.
