Description

Air compressor 800 L/min series SCC-CM5.5-08 is a ready-to-use small mobile compressor unit with a 100 L receiver for air compression up to 8 atmospheres. Unlike other compressor models on the market with a capacity of 0.8 cubic metres per minute, this compressor is — screw type, distinguished among piston types by high efficiency, capability of continuous operation and low noise.

This screw compressor should be powered from an industrial power grid 3ph 380 V. The compressor engine is asynchronous, powered by 4 kW, mounted on vibration damping supports.

Advantages of 800-litre screw compressor over piston type

The compressor block of the pneumatic charger SCC-CM5.5-08 includes all necessary parts for start-up and operation, and all components are of high quality and reliable:

The compressor motor 5.5 kW is connected to the screw pair via an elastic coupling — direct drive has better efficiency and greatly simplifies maintenance compared to belt transmission, where it is necessary to frequently change and tighten the pulley, maintaining correct tension. Our direct drive lasts longer;
Components are connected with a metal pipeline — metal tubes are more durable than rubber ones;
A paper filter is installed in the air intake (snail) to clean the incoming air from contaminants; compressed air is separated from compressor oil in the air-oil separator;
The oil filter cleans the oil from contaminants;
Fans for air cooling — one for the entire unit and one separately on the engine;
All components are connected to a controller with an LCD screen and touch buttons. Parameters are displayed as a letter code.
The 100 L receiver allows the output pressure to be more stable, and moisture from atmospheric air partially condenses in it.
