Description

The SCBV-Q601-16FA-15 series is a ball valve FF size 1/2″, diameter — reduced bore, with manual drive, made from stainless steel AISI 304. These ball valves are allowed to be mounted on domestic hot and cold water pipes, for steam, for food (drinks, drinking water, syrup), industrial pipelines for a range of petroleum products (without sulfur, chlorine and other aggressive impurities, and substances not compatible with PTFE)

The reduced bore type of threaded ball valve SCBV-Q601-16FA-15 has a narrowing and smaller ball size compared to the pipeline diameter. The body is one-piece and non-detachable made from stainless steel 201. Markings on the shut-off valve:

1/2″ (corresponds to DN 15 mm)
304 (grade of stainless steel for the ball)
1000 WOG - designed for water, oils, and gaseous substances; maximum pressure - 16 bar (1.6 MPa) (depends on temperature).

The PTFE ball valve with Teflon seals withstands operating temperatures from minus 40 to 180 degrees Celsius (without liquid freezing).
