SCC-MPWF-20 refrigerating air dryer

Industrial refrigerated air dryers (refrigerators) series SCC-MPWF-20 are used for cooling warm post-compressor air with a volume up to 2.5 m³ (2500 LPM), to condense and separate moisture from it. The dryer has inlet-outlet openings with a 3/4″ PT thread for connection. Allowable working pressure — from 4 to 16 bar.

Specialist's compressed air refrigerator from summer 2024 is manufactured with a stainless steel heat exchanger, providing high efficiency and long lifespan compared to cheap analogs on the Ukrainian market.

Recommended layout for compressor dryer piping

• air compressor (installation capacity should be less than (2500 LPM), otherwise, a larger dryer should be chosen);
• 1-inch ball valves with NBR or other pneumatic seals
• separator and moisture separator filters with condensate drain valves.

Note! Do not supply air to the dryer with a temperature above 38° C — in this case, a convector must be installed for preliminary cooling. The dryer should be placed in a well-ventilated room, protected from direct sunlight and moisture, without heat sources nearby.

Structure of the SCC-MPWF-20 refrigerator

Upon customer request, the refrigerated dryer can be filled with refrigerant of brands R134a, R22, R407C, R404A, etc. By default, the SCC-MPWF-20 model is filled with tetrafluoromethane R134a, which has good thermodynamic properties, allows reaching low temperatures, and is low-toxic and safe for the ozone layer.
