Description
Three-phase Motor Reactor 5A, 380V, 1.5 kW, 1.4 mH OCL-0005-1M40-0.4SC is installed at the output of a frequency converter for filtering the current supplied to three-phase electric motors 380V. The purpose of the output reactor is as follows:
- Creating inductive resistance which limits the motor supply current, thus preventing overload and damage;
- Preventing sharp current surges during motor start, which could damage the equipment;
- Cleaning the current sine wave from undesirable high harmonics (high-frequency noises) occurring in the drive.
Use the AC output reactor in the circuit between the frequency converter and the asynchronous electric motor to improve the quality of the drive power supply, as well as for safe and prolonged equipment operation.

- In the temperature range from minus 10 to 45℃, the nominal parameters of the reactor are tabular. At a temperature above 55℃, the nominal current decreases by about 2% for each extra +1℃.
- Altitude should not exceed 2000 m above sea level.
- Air humidity should be below 90%.
- Environment: free of harmful gases, flammable objects, with good ventilation.
When placing the reactor in a cabinet, ensure ventilation for ample cooling of the equipment.
