Five-port two-position 5/2 pneumatic directional control valves with single-sided electropneumatic control and return spring are designed for use with compressed air at a working pressure of 1.5-8.5 bar. They can be used to control double-acting pneumatic cylinders or for other applications. They can be installed separately or on a mounting plate.
The five-port directional control valves have five ports on the body, identified by numbers or letters:
Valves are available for order with internal cylindrical threads G1/8″, G1/4″, G3/8″, G1/2″, or G1″. When choosing air silencers or throttles, keep in mind that the sizes of the exhaust valve air distributor are smaller than its inlet-outlet (see Table 1).
In terms of operation, 5/2 directional control valves with single electrical control are monostable, meaning that in the absence of a control electrical signal, the return spring keeps the distributor spool in one specific position — air is supplied through the first outlet, and pressure is released at the second. Single-sided control is recommended in cases where the valve remains in one position for a long time or when returning the distributor to a certain position is based on safety requirements.
Customers have the option to order a solenoid coil with the required electrical characteristics:

Directional control valves are divided into series C, D, E, and EL, which differ from each other in terms of effective cross-sectional area, compressed air flow, and sizes of connecting ports.
