Description

Filter elements of the SCC-MF-F series are designed for installation in main air filters with high flow rates, where they retain solid particles and parts of compressor oil, purifying the air. SCC-MF-F filter elements are suitable for SCC-MF series compressor moisture separators.

The degree of filtration depends on the selected type of filter element:

Additional Information about SCC-MF-F

The lifespan of the replacement filter element depends on the cleanliness of the atmospheric air, the quality of compressor oil filtration, and proper use.

To ensure longer service life for 0.01 microns filters, it is recommended to install main filters sequentially 3 microns → 1 micron → 0.01 microns.

Deterioration in throughput and increased pressure drop on the filter indicates the need to replace the filter element. A contaminated SCC-MF-F filter element is not subject to recovery.

The filter element should remain dry during operation. If the condensate in the moisture separator cup exceeds the maximum level and the filter element absorbs moisture, it will stop functioning and allow contaminated air to pass through. Ensure drains for condensate in dryers, filters, separators, and receivers.
