Description

The SF-EPY series plastic push-in fitting is a Y-shaped union with a quick-release connection for polyamide, polyurethane, or polyethylene pneumatic tubes with an outer diameter of 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, or 16 mm.

The body and collet of the SF-EPY fitting are made from technical plastic in white or light grey, with NBR rubber seals. Therefore, this plastic fitting can be used not only in pneumatic lines but also for transporting water, non-aggressive gases, and fluids to which NBR is resistant.

When used for compressed air, the Y-shaped connector has a working pressure of up to 10 bar (1 MPa) and can withstand temperatures from minus 10 to plus 60°C. These parameters may vary when using other working media.

The SF-EPY series plastic union fittings are of higher quality than the SF-IPY series because they have better plastic density and a higher product weight for the same overall dimensions.
The collet is one of the best types of quick-release connections that does NOT deform the tube end, allowing it to be reused multiple times.
