Description

The power pneumatic cylinder of double action with stroke adjustment in the SC-SCJ series has a double-sided rod, with an adjustable mechanical stop on one side. This allows the cylinder to perform tasks such as moving heavy objects or exerting high pressure with controlled distance — it is frequently used for powerful universal presses and cutting machines. Models SC-SCJ are interchangeable with other standard pneumatic cylinders, which have dimensions and mounting sizes according to the ISO 6430 standard regardless of manufacturer.

Standard cylinders ISO 6430 are manufactured with piston diameters from 32 to 320 mm and maximum stroke length of pneumatic cylinders from 5 to 1500 mm depending on the piston diameter (see the table below) and with mechanical stroke control.

The built-in adjustable damper in the cylinder ensures smooth stopping of the piston at the end of the stroke to absorb the force of its impact on the front or rear cover. Using a special screw, damping can be adjusted to achieve higher or lower braking levels of the piston.

The double action involves controlling the extension-retraction of the rod by supplying-releasing compressed air through two threaded holes from G1/8 to 1/2″. Pressure up to 12 bar is allowed.

Internal Structure and Materials

The parts listed in the table are used to manufacture SC-SCJ pneumatic cylinders by default. As a manufacturer, we can use other materials (VITON seals, stainless body, etc.) and make changes to the structure on request.

The construction of ISO 6430 cylinders is collapsible, allowing for repair and replacement of worn parts.

Pneumatic cylinders of model SC-SCJ have an aluminium round sleeve with open studs. By default, a magnet is mounted on the piston.

The rod is a through one with stroke adjustment, made of nickel-plated carbon steel with an external metric thread M10-27 for mounting accessories or direct loads. On request, the rod can be made of chrome stainless steel, without threads or with slots, etc.
