SC-ADR belong to the compact short-stroke double acting pneumatic cylinders with a single-ended piston rod without built-in buffer. They are manufactured with a piston diameter up to 100 mm, feature a default piston magnet, as well as an anti-rotation platform. Anti-rotation cylinders of this type are often found on Chinese-made machines, barcode application machines, label and inscription applicators on packages.

Short-stroke pneumatic cylinders SC-ADR have an aluminium sleeve with T-shaped grooves on the housing, allowing for convenient position sensor installation.
Short-stroke double acting pneumatic cylinders SC-ADR with a single-acting rod and anti-rotation platform have two ports for connecting to the pneumatic line. Air supply under pressure to the rodless cavity (from the backside) causes the rod to extend, while pressure release and air supply from the opposite side (from the rod side, into the rod cavity) causes the rod to retract. The rod can only be extended forward, and the other end of the pneumatic cylinder has a closed cap.
