Description
Three-phase motor choke 20A, 380V, 7.5 kW, 0.35 mH OCL-0020-0M35-0.4SC is installed at the output of a frequency converter to filter the current supplied to three-phase electric motors 380 V. The purpose of the output electric choke is as follows:
- Creating an inductive resistance that limits the current supply to the motor, thus preventing its overload and damage;
- Preventing sudden current surges during motor start-up, which can cause equipment failure;
- Cleaning the current sine wave from unwanted high harmonics (high-frequency noise) that occur in the electric drive.
Use the AC output choke in the circuit between the frequency converter and asynchronous motor to improve the power supply quality of the drive, ensuring safe and long-term operation of the equipment.

- In the temperature range from minus 10 to 45℃ the nominal parameters of the choke are according to the table. At temperatures above 55℃, the nominal current decreases by approximately 2% for each additional +1℃.
- Altitude above sea level should not exceed 2000 m.
- Air humidity less than 90%.
- Environment: no harmful gases, flammable items, good ventilation is required.
When placing the choke in a cabinet, ventilation for sufficient cooling of the equipment must be ensured.
