Contactless Inductive Proximity Sensor with NPN Output Series SE-SEN-TL-EN5B is designed for detecting proximity, position control, counting, and determining the speed of metal objects at a distance. The sensitive element of this sensor reacts to the magnetic field of metallic objects within up to 5 mm. The exact distance for setting the induction sensor is selected based on coefficients depending on the alloy composition and the size of the product.
The device SE-SEN-TL-EN5B is a contactless switch normally open with a discrete DC signal less than 100 mA. By connection method, the sensor is a three-wire type NPN (NO).
The housing has a dust and waterproof rating of IP66. The electric sensor can be fixed to a surface using two screws and bolts, which are included in the package.
