Inductive Sensor NPN SE-SEN-TK-12N2C/12NC2C is an NC (inductive non-contact switch) that closes/opens a circuit when metal objects approach the sensor at a distance of up to 2mm. For panel or bracket mounting, the metal sensor features a cylindrical housing with an M12 thread, two nuts, and a locking ring. Unlike cheaper counterparts, this series offers dust and moisture protection IP66 for reliability and extended service life. The built-in high-quality three-wire copper cord is flexible, providing better and more stable signal transmission. Compared to the TL series, the TK cutoff switch can switch double the load ≤200mA, allowing for connection to receivers with less sensitive inputs (PLC, frequency converters), as well as switching more powerful relays, solenoids. The transistor output is NPN, either normally open or closed based on customer choice. A 24V DC voltage is required for power.
The Inductive NC Sensor M12 model SE-SEN-TK-12N2C/12NC2C can be used for determining object positions, speed count, and quantity count. The sensor is most responsive to metal alloys with a high iron content, but also reacts to chromium, nickel, aluminium, and copper objects which should be placed closer to the sensor.
