Description
SO-QVB Series Quick Exhaust Valve is designed to accelerate the operation of pneumatic cylinders and efficiently release compressed air from the cylinder cavities. It reduces the activation time of pneumatic cylinders, lessens the load on control valves, and increases the overall efficiency of pneumatic systems.
Main features of SO-QVB:
- Threaded bronze inserts: Input-output with thread G1/8" - G1/2".
- Exhaust port: Size may be smaller than the input — refer to the dimension table for precise data.
- Seal: High-quality NRB seal used, ensuring tightness and reliability.
- Working pressure: 0 - 10 bar.
The SO-QVB pneumatic valve speeds up the action of pneumatic cylinders by reducing air resistance during the piston's return stroke:
- When air is supplied: The closing element (piston) blocks the exhaust port, directing air into the cylinder.
- During the retraction of the rod: The closing element (piston) blocks the input port, and air is released into the atmosphere through the exhaust port.
Bypassing the pneumatic distributor and having a large exhaust port diameter ensures rapid pressure release, increasing the cylinder's activation frequency. It also allows for the use of distributors with smaller passage diameters and reduces the likelihood of condensate formation in the supply line.
Unlike the SO-QVA series valves, the SO-QVB series integrates directly into the pipeline. This simplifies installation and makes it ideal for systems with limited space.
