Description

The SF-A2543 series aluminium threaded fitting is a metal straight equal adapter nipple with internal thread (“female”) on both sides. Thread type — cylindrical pipe thread (G). Size — 1/8 or 1/4″.

These threaded fittings are made in Ukraine. Aluminium nipples are corrosion-resistant and relatively lightweight and inexpensive compared to other types of metal fittings. The finished product undergoes burnishing (a type of mechanical processing) to increase its strength and wear resistance.

The SF-A2543 series fittings are designed for use with compressed air at pressures up to 12 bar (1.2 MPa). When using other media compatible with aluminium, the permissible working pressure and temperature may differ from the values specified for compressed air.

For easier screwing, there is an external hexagon on the fitting body.
