Inductive proximity sensor PNP, M12, distance up to 4 mm (TK series)

Inductive Sensor PNP SE-SEN-TK-12P4C/12PC4C is a non-contact inductive switch (IBI) that responds to metal approaching within 4 mm from the sensor. The body is cylindrical with external threaded M12, two nuts and a lock ring for panel-mounted installation in CNC panels or other walls.

The TK sensor differs from cheaper counterparts by:

• Ingress protection rating IP66 and vibration resistance allow the terminal to work reliably in industrial conditions;
• Has a quality PVC cable — 3-core, flexible, tinned copper;
• Twice the max switching current of the TL series ≤200 mA, allowing connection to various devices — programmable logic controllers with less sensitive input, inverters, more powerful relays, solenoids, etc.;
• Has diode protection against reverse polarity wiring, preserving sensor functionality.

The working distance of the M18 IBI sensor is selected based on the alloy and size of the object. The sensor best detects the proximity of ferrous metals, steel products, but also responds to chrome, nickel, aluminum, and copper.

For operation, three-wire inductive proximity sensors are connected to a 24V source. When ordering, you can choose the sensor type SE-SEN-TK-12P4C/12PC4C as PNP NO normally open or PNP NC normally closed.
