Description
Reed switch for pneumatic cylinder SC-SME-8M-ZS is a complete equivalent of Festo. This is a two-wire magnetic sensor in a body designed for flush fitting into a T-slot of the pneumatic cylinder sleeve and secured with a nut, featuring an LED for indication. The sensitive element is a reed contact that closes when a magnetic field approaches from the piston. In the inactive state, the circuit is open. Reed switch parameters:
- Operating voltage - 5 to 30 V
- Maximum current - 80 mA
- Maximum switched power - 2.4 W
- Voltage drop - 4.8 V
- Protection - IP65/68
To monitor the position of the pneumatic cylinder, a set of two end-position sensors for the piston and rod is usually installed.
