Installation of Reed Switch on Pneumatic Cylinder

Depending on the shape and size of the reed switch body, they are installed in T-shaped slots on the profile sleeve of the pneumatic cylinder (recessed sensors) or secured with additional fastenings on round sleeves. All our reed switches and Hall sensors are equipped with an LED on the top of the device for visual indication.

Depending on the type of sensor, it may be connected to circuits of direct or alternating current:

• 3-wire PNP or NPN sensors are intended only for direct current;
• 2-wire sensors can switch circuits of both direct and alternating currents.
