The SC-DNGD Series double-acting pneumatic cylinder with a through rod is a power pneumatic piston that can move fixed loads at a speed of up to 1 m/sec or press with great force. The series is interchangeable with pneumatic cylinders with a through rod, also manufactured in accordance with standardized overall and mounting dimensions according to ISO 15552 (ISO 6431, VDMA 24562).
ISO 6431/15552 Pneumatic Actuators are made with a piston diameter of from 32 to 320 mm. The stroke length of double-ended rod air cylinders is from 5 to 1500 mm (depends on the piston diameter). This series features a round barrel with exposed tie rods.
The built-in adjustable damper in the pneumatic piston ensures a smooth stop at the end of the stroke to absorb the blow of the piston against the front or rear cover. By using a special screw, the damping can be adjusted to achieve a higher or lower degree of piston braking.
Double action implies controlling the extension-retraction of the rod by supplying-exhausting compressed air through two threaded ports from G1/8 to 1/2β³. Pressure supply up to 12 bar is allowed.
