Description
Three-phase motor output choke 80A, 380V, 30kW, 0.087 mH OCL-0080-087U-0.4SC is installed at the output of a frequency converter for filtering the current supplied to three-phase electric motors of 380V. The purpose of the output electric choke is as follows:
- To create inductive resistance that limits the motor supply current, thus preventing overload and damage;
- To prevent sharp current surges during motor start-up, which can damage the equipment;
- To clean the current sine wave from unwanted high harmonics (high-frequency noise) occurring in the drive.
Use the AC output choke in the circuit between the converter and asynchronous electric motor to improve power supply quality to the drive, ensuring safe and long-term equipment operation.
