Description
Three-phase Motor Choke 660A, 380V, 280 kW, 0.011 mH OCL-0660-011U-0.4SA is installed at the output of a frequency converter to filter the current supplied to three-phase 380V electric motors. The purpose of the output electric choke is as follows:
- Creating inductive resistance, which limits the motor supply current, thereby preventing its overload and damage;
- Preventing sharp current surges during the motor start-up that could damage the equipment;
- Cleansing the current sine wave from unwanted high harmonics (high-frequency noise) that occur in the drive.
Use the AC output choke in the circuit between the inverter and the asynchronous electric motor to improve the power supply quality of the drive, as well as to ensure safe and long-term equipment operation.

When placing the choke in a cabinet, ensure ventilation for sufficient equipment cooling.
