Description
Three-phase motor choke 10A, 380V, 3.7 kW, 0.7 mH OCL-0010-0M70-0.4SC is installed at the output of the frequency converter to filter the current supplied to three-phase electric motors of 380 V. The purpose of the output choke is as follows:
- Creating inductive resistance, which limits the motor's power supply current and thus prevents its overload and damage;
- Preventing sharp current surges during motor start-up, which may damage the equipment;
- Cleaning the current sine wave from unwanted high harmonics (high-frequency noise) generated in the electric drive.
Use the AC output choke in the circuit between the frequency converter and the asynchronous electric motor to improve the quality of the drive's power supply, as well as for safe and long-term equipment operation.

- Within the temperature range from minus 10 to 45℃ the nominal parameters of the choke are tabulated. At temperatures above 55℃, the nominal current decreases by approximately 2% with each additional +1℃.
- Altitude should not exceed 2000 m above sea level.
- Air humidity less than 90%.
- Environment: free from harmful gases, flammable materials, with good ventilation.
When placing the choke in a cabinet, ventilation must be provided for sufficient equipment cooling.
