SCC-FJ20-20/25 is an industrial moisture and oil separator G 1″ or ¾″ for high pressure air compressor up to 16 bars. The moisture and oil separators are specifically designed for effective purification of large air volume up to 2300 L/min from compressor oil, solid inclusions and moisture that enters the compressor from the atmosphere. It connects to the pipeline through two openings with internal thread 3/4″ or 1″.
The filtration degree from dust and compressor oil residues depends on the multilayer filter element installed inside:
- Type "C" 3 µm — standard mechanical filter, oil content post filtration less than 3 ppm, initial pressure drop 0.02 bar;
- Type "T" 1 micron — coalescent fine filter, oil content up to 1 ppm, initial pressure drop 0.06 bar;
- Type "A" 0.01 µm — ultra-fine filter (coalescent), oil content up to 0.01 ppm, max. ≤100'000 1-5 µm particles per m³, initial pressure drop 0.07 bar;
- Type "X" 0.003 µm — ultra-fine filter (coalescent), oil content up to 0.003 ppm, max. ≤10'000 1-5 µm particles per m³, initial pressure drop 0.04 bar;
Once contaminated, the replaceable cartridge needs to be changed. To extend the life of the pneumatic filter, it should be installed after the moisture separator on the compressor, and the air should be dry.
