Description

SF-A2500 series aluminium threaded fitting is a straight equal male-to-male adapter with external thread on both sides. Thread type — cylindrical pipe thread (G). Size — 1/8 or 1/4″.

These threaded fittings are manufactured in Ukraine. Aluminium nipples are corrosion-resistant and relatively lightweight and inexpensive compared to other types of metal fittings. The finished product undergoes shot peening (a type of mechanical treatment) to enhance its strength and wear resistance.

SF-A2500 series fittings are designed to work with compressed air at a pressure of up to 12 bar (1.2 MPa). When using other media compatible with aluminium, the permissible working pressure and temperature may differ from the values given for compressed air.

To facilitate screwing, the body of the fitting has an external hexagon.
