Inductive proximity sensor PNP, M12, distance up to 2 mm (TK series)

Inductive Sensor PNP SE-SEN-TK-12P2C/12PC2C is a non-contact inductive switch that responds when metal approaches within 2 mm of the sensor. It features a cylindrical body with an external threaded M12, two nuts, and a retaining ring for panel mounting or other surfaces.

Differentiators of the TK sensor from cheaper variants include:

• Dust and water resistance rating of IP66 and vibration resistance enable reliable operation in industrial environments;
• Equipped with a high-quality PVC cable — 3-wire, flexible, made of tinned copper;
• Double the maximum switching current compared to the TL series, ≤200 mA, allowing connection to various devices — programmable logic controllers (PLCs) with less sensitive inputs, frequency converters, more powerful relays, solenoids, etc.;
• Features diode protection against reverse wire polarity, safeguarding the sensor's functionality.

The working distance of the M12 proximity sensor is selected considering the material and size of the object. It effectively detects the proximity of ferrous metals, steel products, but also reacts to chrome, nickel, aluminium, and copper.

For operation, three-wire inductive proximity sensors are connected to a 24V source. During ordering, you can select sensor type SE-SEN-TK-12P2C/12PC2C as PNP NO normally open or PNP NC normally closed.
