The functional and compact scalar frequency converter SPLC-NLP1000-45G4 is designed for connection to a three-phase network 380 V and for controlling three-phase asynchronous motors with a power of up to 45 kW. This frequency converter can control pumps, conveyors, and various machines thanks to fine adjustments for the motor start and stop, adaptation of the V/f output characteristic for different types of loads, PID control, and programmable operation according to a multi-step PLC instruction, etc.
The scalar frequency converter SPLC-NLP1000-45G4 uses a scalar control mode V/f. This mode is relatively simple to configure: precise input of all machine parameters is not mandatory.
The SPLC-NLP1000-45G4 scalar frequency converter model has a protection rating of IP20, so it is recommended to install the device on a DIN rail in specialised cabinets for protection against dust and moisture. If necessary, the frequency converter can be connected to a removable control panel (not included in the price, supplied on order).

Power circuit of SPLC-NLP1000-45G4 frequency converters:
- Powered by a three-phase network 3ph 380 V AC 50/60 Hz;
- The linear output voltage ranges from 0 to 380 V, and the frequency is in the range from 0.1 to 400 Hz;
- Allowable overload for 60 s — up to 150% of the nominal current value (when operating in constant load mode).
Control circuit of SPLC-NLP1000-45G4:
- 4DI — four digital inputs, the function of which can be defined independently through menu selection. For example, a digital input can be used for start command, forward run, reverse, stop, jog frequency skip, switch between frequency sources X and Y, switch between 16 preset speed frequency values, switch between 4 acceleration and deceleration modes, remote frequency increase/decrease, timer start, PID control activation, internal controller program, etc.
- 1AI — one input that can be switched using jumper J2 and accepts the corresponding analog signal by current 4...20 mA or voltage 0...10 V to set the frequency;
- 1DO — one multifunctional digital output (relay), which can be used for an ON-OFF output signal about the operating state, achievement of frequency or time counter, completion of a step or cycle of PLC program;
- RS485 — RS485 serial port connector for integrating into an industrial array of NL frequency converters, controllers, industrial PCs, etc.
How to choose the correct model of the scalar three-phase frequency converter series SPLC-NLP1000 380V?
Since the output voltage of SPLC-NLP1000-45G4 is 380 V, three-phase electric motors 220/380 V will need to be connected using the "star" winding connection method. Corresponding to these connections, the motor parameters are indicated on its nameplate. The model of the frequency converter must be chosen so that the nameplate values of the rated current and power are greater than the parameters of the motor.
