Description
Three-phase Motor Choke 40A, 380V, 15 kW, 0.18 mH OCL-0040-0M18-0.4SC is installed at the output of a frequency converter to filter the current supplied to three-phase electric motors at 380V. The purpose of the output electrodime is as follows:
- Creating inductive resistance that limits the motor supply current, thus preventing overload and damage;
- Preventing sudden current surges during motor startup that can disable equipment;
- Cleaning the current sine wave from unwanted high harmonics (high-frequency noise) that occur in the electric drive.
Use the AC output choke in the circuit between the frequency converter and the asynchronous electric motor to improve the power supply quality of the drive, as well as for safe and long-term operation of the equipment.

When placing the choke in a cabinet, it is necessary to ensure ventilation for sufficient cooling of the equipment.
