Pneumatic distributor 4V220-08 (06) 5/2 with bilateral electric control

Pneumatic valve models 4V220-08 (06) are full analogues of Chinese Airtac — 5/2 bi-stable valves, providing control of pneumatic cylinders and double-acting actuators at an operating pressure of 1.5-8 bar. They can be used individually or installed in a group on a mounting plate.

The five-line type means that the pneumatic valve has five connection ports marked with numbers or letters:

1. "P" — input for connection of compressed air supply
2. "A" — output port 1
3. "S" or "ExA" — exhaust port for pressure release from output 1
4. "B" — output port 2
5. "R" or "ExB" — exhaust port for pressure release from output 2

Valves are available for order with internal cylindrical thread G1/8″ or G1/4″. When choosing air mufflers or throttles, keep in mind that the sizes of the pneumatic valve's exhaust valves are smaller than its input-output (see table 1).

The package includes two DC24V IP65 coils (installed on the valve) for power supply with a voltage of 24 V. On request, we can equip the valve with explosion-proof or other types of solenoids, offer an analogue with Namur execution.

When a signal is applied to one of the coils, the spool moves to the position to supply air to the first output, when a signal is applied to the opposite, the pressure is released from the first input and goes to the second. The bi-stability of the 4V220-08 (06) valve means that after the power is turned off, it remains in the last of the two possible positions until electricity is turned on. This type provides equal speed and reliability during frequent position switching, as there is no spring that would lose elasticity. It is also necessary in processes requiring fixation of either one or the other position.
