Non-contact inductive proximity sensor PNP SE-SEN-TL-18P(C)5B detects the proximity of metals at a distance of up to 5 mm to the sensor and switches the signal. The inductive limit switch sensor responds best to iron and steel objects larger than 12x12x1 mm. For chrome, nickel, aluminum, copper and smaller objects, the actual measuring distance is adjusted with coefficients and charts.
The M18 proximity sensor is a cylindrical shape with an external metric thread M18 with a light indicator and a cable exit at the back. The kit includes a quality soft copper cord. These are reliable sensors with IP66 housing protection and vibration resistance.

The output is a three-wire normally open or closed transistor with PNP polarity. Connect to a 24V direct current network: DC10-30V, the max. switching current of this model is relatively small — ≤100 mA.
